Pre care protocol

Pre-care instructions MUST BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the procedure. Excessive bleeding and sensitivity during the procedure will dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.

✅ Wash your face the night before the procedure  and do not apply any cream, lotion or moisturizer on the eyebrow area.

✅ In the morning of the procedure wash your face and again do not apply anything to the eyebrow area, we need your skin to be dry and any lotion you apply can make your skin oily.

✅ We also recommend you to wash your hair before the procedure.

✅ Make sure you are very well hydrated 2 days before the procedure.

✅ The day of procedure, make sure you drink no more than 5 ounces of coffee or drinks with caffeine.

?Do not tweeze, thread, wax or  tint 1 week prior to the procedure.

?Do not work out on the day of the procedure.

? Do not drink alcohol 48 hours prior to the procedure

?NO NSAIDs such as Advil and Motrin

1 week  before the procedure

?NO Tylenol 1 week  before the procedure

? NO pain medication 1 week before the procedure

? NO antibiotics 1 month before the procedure

?Please avoid any type of blood thinning medication for a minimum of 10 days  prior to the procedure. If your blood thinning medication is prescribed by a doctor please inform us so we can discuss the concerns with your doctor.

If you do take blood thinning medication you must inform us prior to booking your appointment.

? NO vitamins C, Vitamin E, Vitamin D, Glucosamine, Evening Primrose oil, fish oil, Ginger oils or pills, any medication that promotes weight loss or promotes energy 10 days  prior to the procedure as they thin the blood and prevent the pigment from implanting correctly, meaning your tattoo may heal patchy.

?NO use of any anti-aging, skin brightening or anti-acne skincare products. Particularly those that contain Alpha Hydroxy (AHA), Vitamin A, Retinol. Ideally, do not use these products for 2 weeks prior to the procedure, and yes, even if you do not use it near the area to be treated it does spread under your skin and your permanent makeup will heal patchy. Once your eyebrows have healed under the skin surface (approximately 6 weeks following your final session) you may resume your usual skin care routine.

⚠️The skin must be free of all irritations including blemishes, eczema, psoriasis & acne.

⚠️Must be off Accutane medication for 12 months  prior to the procedure.

⚠️Do not schedule any facials, microdermabrasion, microneedling, peels or laser treatments for at least 4 weeks prior to the procedure.

⚠️Do not have cosmetic injections on the forehead for at least 4 weeks prior to the procedure.

⚠️Avoid sun tanning or tanning beds for 2 weeks prior to the procedure. If you show up to your appointment with a sunburn you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your deposit. As your skin exfoliates from a sunburn it will remove the pigment. Tanned skin is damaged skin and your color will not heal properly.

⚠️Scars from surgery or injury must be healed for at least one year prior to the procedure.
